Quality is paramount to ALS and is why we are industry leaders. All laboratories employ QA/QC staff to help maintain the quality system, conduct internal audits and assist in training and compliance. These staff report direct to the local State Manager.
Quality Systems (ISO 17025)
At ALS, global quality procedures have been established to control and monitor all generic aspects of the company’s operations.
The quality system is documented by using a series of Quality Procedures, which are further broken down into detailed Work Instructions.
The Quality Manual describes the policies of ALS regarding all aspects of the Quality System and contains references to the Procedures relevant to each clause in ISO/IEC 17025. Employees are trained in the contents of the Quality documentation and adhere to them at all times. The Quality Manual is used as a policy document and may also be available for client review. It has a limited distribution of controlled copies. Quality Documents are used for controlling information, which affects the whole company, and are not strictly procedural.
