Regional Overview
The Australian Environmental Division – operating in the worlds’ driest continent – is uniquely structured to provide specialist services to the Water Resources Sector in addition to the Traditional Environmental work conducted globally. The sub division, within the Australian Environmental Division was formalised with the acquisition of Ecowise Environmental in December 2009. The Brisbane site also provides centralized support services for human resource management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, marketing, business development and strategic planning. The Brisbane Environmental Laboratory is a fully equipped, NATA accredited facility which was established in 1991. It was the first environmental laboratory opened by ALS and has undergone significant expansion since that time including the opening of an ultra modern 1200 m2 laboratory complex in 2007. From this single laboratory in the early nineties, the Environmental Division has grown to be one of the largest and most reputable environmental testing organisations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of organic and inorganic testing services.
The Brisbane Environmental Laboratory serves as a hub for the Townsville, Mackay and Gladstone regional services offices.
The Brisbane site also provides centralized support services for human resource management, accounts payable/receivable and IT services for the Australian region.
Sample receipt is available outside of the regular hours of Operation, including weekends and public holidays. Please contact our offices or after hours number to make the necessary arrangements.
