Regional Overview
The Australian Environmental Division – operating in the worlds’ driest continent – is uniquely structured to provide specialist services to the Water Resources Sector in addition to the Traditional Environmental work conducted globally. The sub division, within the Australian Environmental Division was formalised with the acquisition of Ecowise Environmental in December 2009. The Brisbane operation forms part of the ALS Environmental (Water Science) Group. This Group provides water-related and environmental services to clients across Australia. The Water Sciences Group consists of a core of aquatic ecologists and environmental scientists with expertise in ecological monitoring and assessments, ecological research, drinking water quality management, environmental impact assessment and environmental management.
The Water Sciences Group routinely works on rivers, streams, creeks, lakes, reservoirs, dams, wetlands, groundwater, bays and estuaries.
Water Sciences Group’s quality management systems are designed to facilitate effective delivery to clients and are compliant with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
