Quality Assurance
Environmental Quality Assurance Data Integrity and Quality is important to end users and clients alike and as such, attention to Quality and Process Control within Environmental Division Laboratories is paramount. The regionally managed by globally consistent quality systems employed at Environmental Division laboratories have been designed to consistently provide reliable, legally defensible analytical results which meet local and international requirements for accreditations, certifications, and licensing.
Environmental Division laboratories employ full time trained QA/QC Chemists to help maintain the quality system, conduct internal audits and assist in training and compliance.
ALS Electronics laboratories are certified by major disk drive manufacturers such as Seagate, Western Digital, Hitachi and Excelsior. ALS also performs analysis in accordance with IDEMA, Samsung, Toshiba, Fujitsu and IPC Standards.
ALS Singapore laboratory is SAC-SINGLAS accredited laboratory under the Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SINGLAS).
ALS Scandinavia is SWEDAC accredited (No. 1087). Accreditation is assessed to ISO/IEC 17025 (2005) which include the management requirements of ISO 9001: 2000 for the field of chemical testing on plastics.
Accreditation
An important aspect of the Quality Management System is the periodic audits and assessments by local accreditation bodies. Accreditations for Environmental Division labs are based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Accreditations are held for specific tests as related on each laboratory Scope of Accreditation.
