The acquisition of a local Melbourne-based Food and Pharmaceutical in November 2006, led to the launch of the Food/Pharmaceutical Division of ALS Australian Operations. The Food/Pharmaceutical Division operates out of a full-service laboratory in the Melbourne suburb of Springvale and provides Chemical (physical, organic, and inorganic), Microbiological and Toxicological analyses to industry, commerce and government agencies. The Division strives to provide a superior level of Chemical and Microbiological analytical services to help our clients in the food/pharmaceutical fields make informed decisions.
The Springvale laboratory is TGA / APVMA and NATA accredited and offer testing which is compliant with a range of standards including British Pharmacopoeia (BP), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Food Chemicals Codex (FCC), Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC), the American Public Health Association (APHA), AQIS and Australian Standards. Sample receipt is available outside of the regular hours of operation, including weekends and public holidays. Please contact our offices or after hours number to make the necessary arrangements.
