Food & Pharmaceutical Division
The Food/Pharmaceutical Division provides a testing service specifically tailored to clients producing, dispatching or importing Foods, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical manufacturers and raw material suppliers and the producers of Veterinary products.
Food Testing
Laboratory analysis can be used to characterise a food product and to ascertain its quality, reflecting its suitability for human consumption. Apart from determining product characteristics (including nutritional panels), food analysis can cover the determination of toxic metals, artificial colouring, flavouring, preservatives, pesticide residue and microbial contamination. Food products analysed include general commodities, cereals, beverages, dairy products, fish and marine products, spices, vegetable oils and animal fats.
Pharmaceutical Testing
A comprehensive suite of tests is available to assist manufacturers and suppliers to determine the quality, potency and/or quality compliance of raw materials, intermediates and final products.
For food and pharmaceutical-type products, our scope of capabilities includes both chemical and microbiological aspects of analysis
